Gabriela Nguyen-Groza

Gabriela’s experience spans across sectors and countries, as a Trusted Advisor for Boards, CEOs and their executive teams. She is specialised in international executive searches (iNED and C-Suite) and leadership development work.

Her European track-record includes recruiting a multitude of non-executive and executive positions (Chairman of the Board, Independent Director, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Chief People Officer, Head of Data Monetization, Partners in law firms etc.), working with top teams of multinational companies. She is quick to grasp the sector challenges and nuances while bringing rigor, insight, care and pragmatism in her approach. Her expertise in search is completed by her activity as a trusted advisor for international Boards, working on topics like Board Effectiveness (Assessment, Development and Composition), Succession Planning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Purposeful Leadership (ESG).

Gabriela is the Vice-Chair of the Board Composition Committee of ILA (Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs), the Board Members representative body in Luxembourg. Her training on defining one’s unique value proposition as an independent director is part of the Board Member certification process of ILA/INSEAD. She is also a Senior Advisor of the EMEA Board of Women in Payments, a global network for women working in the payments industry, and of Neobrain, an AI company in the HR sector.

Gabriela started her career as a journalist in Romania, where she studied law and journalism. She holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Sorbonne, France. She is trilingual in Romanian, English and French and she also speaks Italian, Spanish, Luxembourgish and Arabic.
